Pricing &
Fee Schedule
Platform charges, commissions, and withdrawal fees for all user types
Overview & Principles
LusitoHub is committed to transparent, fair, and predictable pricing. This document is the authoritative reference for all fees charged on the platform.
LusitoHub operates as a marketplace connecting clients who need transport and delivery services with providers — drivers and logistics operators — who fulfil those services. The platform facilitates job posting, bidding, contract formation, payment escrow, and dispute resolution.
Our fee model is designed so that clients incur no direct platform charge for posting or accepting jobs. Providers pay a commission on successfully completed work, reflecting the value the platform delivers in acquiring customers, managing payments, and providing operational infrastructure.
All fees stated in this schedule are in Emalangeni (E) unless otherwise noted. LusitoHub does not charge VAT on any platform fees or commissions.
No fee is ever charged on a cancelled job, a failed payment, or a job pending admin dispute resolution. Fees are only deducted upon confirmed, successful completion of a job.
Client (Employer) Fees
Clients are individuals or businesses posting jobs and hiring providers through the platform.
LusitoHub does not charge clients any platform fee for the core use of the marketplace. Posting jobs, browsing provider profiles, reviewing bids, forming contracts, and releasing funds are all provided at no direct cost to the client.
Clients may post unlimited jobs at no charge. There is no listing fee, no bid-acceptance fee, and no contract formation fee. The full job amount agreed between client and provider is held in escrow and released only upon job completion or mutual agreement.
When a client funds a job, the full agreed amount is deposited into a secure escrow wallet held by LusitoHub. The escrow service — which protects both parties from fraud and non-performance — is provided at no extra cost to the client. Funds are released to the provider only after the client confirms completion, or after the platform resolves a dispute in the provider's favour.
If a client requests a refund due to non-completion or a successful dispute, the full escrowed amount is returned to the client's wallet. No deduction is made from the client's refund.
Topping up the LusitoHub wallet via MTN MoMo or other accepted payment channels may carry a processing fee charged by the payment provider, not by LusitoHub. Clients should refer to their payment provider's fee schedule. LusitoHub does not apply any additional markup on top-up transactions.
Provider Fees & Commission
Providers are drivers and service operators who accept and fulfil jobs through the platform.
Providers pay a service commission on the gross value of each successfully completed job. This commission is automatically deducted from the escrowed job amount at the point of release — providers do not need to make a separate payment. The remaining amount (net of commission) is credited directly to the provider's LusitoHub wallet.
A commission of 10% is deducted from the gross agreed job value when funds are released from escrow. The provider receives the remaining 90% in their wallet. This commission covers the cost of customer acquisition, platform maintenance, payment infrastructure, fraud prevention, and ongoing product development.
No commission is charged for: jobs cancelled before a provider is confirmed; jobs where the client cancels before work commences; or jobs where a dispute results in a full refund to the client.
The commission rate may be reviewed periodically. Any changes will be communicated with at least 30 days' notice via email and in-app notification, and will not apply retroactively to jobs already in progress or in escrow at the time of the change.
Withdrawal Fees
Withdrawal fees apply when transferring wallet balances to external payment accounts.
Once earnings are in a provider's LusitoHub wallet, they can be withdrawn to a registered MTN Mobile Money (MoMo) account. A processing fee covers the cost of the outbound transfer through the payment network.
A fee of 3% is applied to each withdrawal to an MTN MoMo account. This fee is deducted from the withdrawal amount — i.e., the user receives the amount net of the fee. The minimum withdrawal amount is E 100.00.
Withdrawals are typically processed same-day during business hours. In some cases, processing may take up to 1–3 business days depending on network availability and MTN MoMo system status.
There is no fee for: internal wallet-to-wallet transfers between LusitoHub users; refunds credited back to the client wallet; or platform-initiated corrections.
| Parameter | Value | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Withdrawal fee | 3.00% | Deducted from withdrawal amount |
| Minimum withdrawal | E 100.00 | Requests below this threshold are rejected |
| Processing time | Same day – 3 days | Business days; subject to MTN network status |
| Supported channels | MTN MoMo | Additional channels may be added in future |
| Fee on refunds | E 0.00 | No fee for platform-initiated refunds |
Referral Programme
LusitoHub operates a referral programme that rewards existing users for bringing new active members to the platform. Referral rewards are paid from the platform's share of commission and do not reduce what providers or clients pay.
For each job completed by a referred user, the referrer earns 20% of the platform's commission on that job. This is calculated on LusitoHub's commission (not the full job value) and is paid from the platform's share only.
There is no limit on the number of referrals or on total referral earnings. Referral rewards are credited directly to the referrer's LusitoHub wallet and can be used to fund jobs or withdrawn subject to standard withdrawal terms.
Referral rewards are paid only for jobs completed by users who registered using the referrer's unique referral code or link. Retroactive referral claims are not accepted. LusitoHub reserves the right to withhold or reverse referral rewards where fraudulent or self-referral activity is detected.
Disputes & Refunds
LusitoHub provides a structured dispute resolution process to protect both clients and providers. There is no fee for raising or responding to a dispute.
| Scenario | Outcome | Fees Applied |
|---|---|---|
| Job cancelled before provider confirmed | Full escrow refund to client | None |
| Client cancels after work commences | Admin review; partial or full release | None |
| Dispute resolved in client's favour | Full escrow refund to client | None |
| Dispute resolved in provider's favour | Escrow released to provider; commission deducted | 10% |
| Job completed, client confirms | Funds released to provider | 10% |
Disputes must be raised within 24 hours of the job being marked as completed. After this window, the job is considered confirmed and funds are released automatically. Dispute decisions made by LusitoHub administrators are final for platform purposes, though they do not affect any legal rights either party may have.
LusitoHub does not charge for dispute resolution, mediation, or evidence review. The dispute service is part of the platform's core offering and is included within the service commission.

Changes to This Schedule
LusitoHub reserves the right to revise this fee schedule at any time. Changes will be communicated to registered users by email and via in-app notification at least 30 days before the revised schedule takes effect.
Continued use of the platform after a fee change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised schedule. Jobs already in escrow at the time of a fee change will be processed under the fee schedule in effect at the time the job was funded.
